How Streaks Work

Your streak counts consecutive calendar days you've come back for a roast. It's simple by design: show up, streak goes up. Miss a day, it resets.

The rules

  1. Visit on a new day and your streak goes up by one.
  2. Miss a day entirely and your streak resets to 1 on your next visit.
  3. Every 5th day of an active streak, you unlock a reward: instead of a random character, you get to pick who roasts you tomorrow.
  4. If you earn the pick but don't use it, the reward holds until you do.
  5. Your streak, history, and picks are stored locally in your browser. Clearing your browser data resets everything.

Why every 5 days

Most days, the character is random on purpose, part of the appeal is not knowing whether you're getting The Sergeant or The Nonna. The 5-day reward gives consistent visitors a small moment of control without turning the whole thing into a menu you pick from every day.

Does the streak affect the roast itself?

No. Your streak count is just for you, it's never shown to anyone else, including in the shareable image card. It only affects which character shows up next and whether you've unlocked a pick.
